Agui : I think everyone has been working hard and doing things for the audience. There are endless good works, including the previous "Nezha" and "The Great Sage", which have inspired the industry. There are also many good directors. There is an old saying: "The land is vast and the resources are abundant." We have come to understand that our own Chinese culture is the best, and we have more and more positive views and energy. Chinese animation is in the ascendant and will become more and more professional. Chinese animation and comics are improving. I believe that in the future, we will also be a very important and indispensable force on the world animation stage, but we also need to work hard from generation to generation, which is not achieved overnight.

At this age, what does this comic mean to you when you look back on it for so many years?
Agui : When I was in the second or third grade of elementary school, I liked comics. Whenever I saw comics in the newsstands, I had to buy them and read them. I was thirsty. At that time, there were still very few local comics, mainly Japanese comics. It was my original dream to be a cartoonist. At that time, I drew four-frame comics and wanted to contribute, but there were not so many magazines. But in fact, I also love animation. When I graduated from art, I studied animation and made original short films. In the Flash era, I did fat dog series, nostalgic 70s and 80s strangers, nostalgic songs and so on. But the ideal of comics has never been put down. Before 2008 and 2009, I began to serialize Guibao comics on the Internet. After such a long time, I found that comics are really my original intention and my goal. It's not easy to draw comics. Comics are more stressful than animations, because original short films are for self-entertainment, while comics are meant to make everyone happy and have a certain amount. I drew 240 pages in the first volume. Our books have always been thick and heavy, so each one was stressful.
When it comes to influence, first of all, I made a lot of friends through drawing comics and opened up a lot of opportunities. The conclusion is, originally I thought I was using my brush to paint Gui Bao, but now I feel more and more that Gui Bao is writing my life in his comic world. The world of comics is virtual, but it has such a strong interaction with the real world, which allows me to go to all parts of the country to meet every one of our readers, let the comics fly into the hands of every reader who likes Guibao, and bring them joy. Although I could feel its impact at first, I didn't expect it to be so huge.

I often want to have a perfect creative environment, without any trivial troubles in life, and I don’t say that the state is good or bad. Just like I like food very much, but I also find it troublesome to cook, so I figured it out a long time ago, and there is no perfect state of creation. Every operation is very difficult. It is very difficult to do a constant thing in a rich and varied life. For example, after I wake up every day, I must draw a few pictures no matter what, it is an endurance long-distance running.
The inner source of energy, I have to thank my mother, my mother is a person who can do anything, she can get Guibao's bad jokes. I once asked her, one day Xiaoming stepped on a lemon, guess what happened to Xiaoming's foot? She said, "That foot is sore," and I was surprised she could guess. The most important point is that my mother gave me a lot of tolerance and free love. This energy grows in my heart and is alive.
Another point is that I have been more positive and optimistic since I was a child. I am from the Northeast, which is very similar to Guibao. I have a lot of whimsy, which can also be called wild thoughts. There is a boy in everyone's heart. I was still thinking two days ago, is this boy still there? As his parents age, he may disappear. But after painting Guibao for so many years, I have never felt exhausted. These energies have always been there, that is, the boy in my heart is still there, but every time I want to do better, I sometimes feel dissatisfied with myself. This new book, 26 volumes, is full of happy and wonderful things. If it is a food, it must not be sauce-flavored, but refreshing and colorful like fruit, beautiful and delicious, and the taste is very fresh and unique.

The Paper : As an author of children's cartoons, the life of children, the environment in which they grow up, and the things they come into contact with are actually changing all the time. How to digest and deal with the changes in the external world in the creation, I want to convey to the children through Guibao What is it?Agui : Actually, I think the childhood feelings of human beings are similar. We have met many young readers, and the communication is very smooth, because we know what everyone likes, the robots, superpowers, new technological inventions that we liked when we were young, and so on. Today’s children still like. As long as your childlike innocence is not dead, it is easy for children to become friends with each other, but adults will think a lot, and children have a pure heart together.
I feel that I am not new to my creations over the years, and more of my creations are based on people's inner feelings. For example, in Guibao's Galaxy Wandering series, there is a planet. When you reach this planet, a floating flower will grow on your head. Everyone's is different: some people are shy The flowers are like mimosa; some people's hearts are a little hard, and the flowers are relatively hard; some people's hearts are more intricate, and they have to use a wood to comb them, and their hearts will be smooth.
There is one person who does everything well, but cannot fill his heart, just like many people in life who cannot be satisfied. Gui Bao directly asked the alien to send him to the hole in his heart, where he saw the original intention of his childhood. It turned out that for so many years, he had been empty in his heart and felt lost because he had been burying his original intention.
To put it simply, if I want to be a cartoonist, but become a trader in the stock market, although I am successful, looking back, I always feel that I still want to draw something. The original intention is to always ask and always be new. There are too many distractions and temptations in this world, and so do I, but I will be aware of it and I will often ask myself.
