According to statistics from the National Film Administration, as of 2:30 PM on December 13, 2025, the total box office for the year had reached 50.003 billion yuan, with a total of 1.194 billion admissions. Domestic films accounted for 40.952 billion yuan of the total box office, representing 81.90% of the total. Fifty films grossed over 100 million yuan during the year, including 33 domestic films and 17 foreign films.
The top five films at the box office were: Ne Zha (15.446 billion yuan), Detective Chinatown 1900 (3.612 billion yuan), Zootopia 2 (3.35 billion yuan), Nanjing Photo Studio (3.017 billion yuan), and Unit 731 (1.943 billion yuan).
