A year after the death of national treasure actor Alain Delon, the family dispute over his estate continues to linger. His youngest son, Alain-Fabien Delon, recently filed a civil lawsuit in a Paris court, seeking to have his father's will declared invalid. He cited a medical report he obtained, stating that his father "lacked sufficient judgment" when writing the will. The first hearing in the case is scheduled for March 9th of next year.

Alain-Fabien Delon, 31, also known as Little Alain Delon, is the child of his love affair with Dutch model and actress Rosalie van Breemen. In 1987, while appearing in one of Delon's music videos, Rosalie, despite the 31-year age difference, fell in love with him and gave up her acting career. In 1990, she gave birth to their daughter, Anuchka, and four years later, their son. However, the couple separated in 2001, never concluding their marriage.
In addition to the siblings, Alain Delon's eldest son Antoine is 60 years old this year and is his only child with his first wife Nathalie Delon.

Furthermore, the renowned musician Nicole, who also dated Delon, gave birth to a son, Christian Aaron Boulogne, whom she claimed was his and Delon's child, though he never acknowledged the child. In 2023, Christian died of a drug overdose at the age of 60. However, his son, Charles Boulogne, continued to sue, ultimately receiving support from a French court. A hearing will be held this month, and it remains unclear whether the court will request a DNA test. Once a paternity is confirmed, whether this will affect the distribution of Alain Delon's will remains to be seen.

Alain Delon's will, drafted on November 24, 2022, reportedly leaves 50% of his estate to his daughter Anouchka and 25% each to his two sons. Furthermore, his works, image rights, and name rights all belong to his daughters. It's worth noting that, on February 22, 2023, Delon signed a document transferring a 51% stake in ADID (Alain Delon International Distribution), the company that holds his personal brand and image rights, to his daughters.

But according to the youngest son, his 86-year-old father was already cognitively impaired, so the will and the share transfer should be invalid. One of his bases is the diagnosis report obtained from his father's doctor in September last year, which mentioned that Alain Delon "has cognitive impairment, especially in fixed memory, concentration, memory recall and understanding." The issuance time of these medical reports coincides with the signing of the will and the share transfer, which is enough to prove that Alain Delon signed these documents while he was hospitalized in Switzerland. "Alain-Fabien Delon is looking for the truth. He wants to prove that his father was manipulated and that something inappropriate happened," his lawyer told the media.

In fact, the dispute between the three children over Alain Delon's inheritance had already been raging before his death. Initially, the three siblings were on the same side, targeting Hiromi Rollin, a Japanese woman who had been by their father's side in his later years. The two met in 1992, when Hiromi Rollin was working as an assistant director on the set of "Casanova's Last Love" and met Alain Delon, who starred in the film. She became his life partner a few years after Delon broke up with Rosalie van Blimont in 2001. In July 2023, the three siblings filed charges against her for "mind control" and other crimes. After the court determined that Delon was in poor mental and physical condition, it decided to evict Hiromi Rollin from Delon's residence.
However, after the outsiders were eliminated, the three siblings soon started fighting among themselves. At the end of 2023, the eldest son Anthony, in an interview with the media, accused his half-sister Anouschka of manipulating his father on the issue of inheritance and deliberately concealing his father's dementia. Soon, Alain Delon personally appeared in the media and condemned his eldest son's words as pure fabrication. Anouschka also threatened to sue her brother and younger brother for defamation, malicious reporting, threats and harassment. But in April 2024, the Paris court held a hearing on Alain Delon's physical condition and finally determined that he did have "cognitive impairment" and therefore made a protective decision that the court would supervise and manage his expenses.

Alain Delon and his daughter Anuchka
At 3:00 AM on August 18, 2024, Alain Delon passed away from diffuse large B-cell lymphoma at the age of 88. He spoke publicly of his love for his daughter Anouchka, who co-starred with her father in the 2003 television film "Greyhound," and was clearly a pillar of support for Delon in his later years. This sentiment has been widely attested to by family, friends, and even his medical team. Therefore, Alain Delon's strong preference for his daughter's inheritance distribution seems reasonable to many outsiders.
