Chen Kaige's film series, "Volunteer Army," will conclude during this year's National Day holiday. On September 8th, the film officially announced a nationwide release date of September 30th, along with a trailer and poster. Unlike the previous two films, "Volunteer Army: Bloody Peace" will unlock a new "fighting-while-negotiating" scenario, allowing viewers to witness a more multifaceted game of strategy and competition.
In addition to familiar faces such as Zhang Zifeng and Zhu Yawen who appear throughout the first two films, powerful filmmakers such as Song Jia, Peng Yuchang, and Guo Tao join the battle with new characters. New and old comrades gather together, and multiple battlefield narratives are narrated to welcome the final chapter of the story.

After five desperate battles, the heroic volunteers forced the U.S. military to the negotiation table. After entering the negotiation stage, the confrontation between the two sides became more intense and complicated.
"Talk, the door is open! Fight, we'll fight to the bitter end!" The 747-day negotiations, involving 158 large and 733 smaller meetings and five interruptions, broke the record for the longest ceasefire negotiations in world military history, demonstrating the difficulty of this victory. The film meticulously depicts the hidden smoke of war behind the battlefield.

Poster of "Volunteer Army: Bloody Peace"
The latest trailer shows the US side at the negotiating table acting with arrogance and arrogance, attempting to distort the truth with a 60,000-page document riddled with errors and resorting to "rogue tactics" to sabotage the negotiations. Faced with repeated provocations from the enemy, the Chinese delegation refused to yield, defending their bottom line with professionalism and unwavering resolve. Meanwhile, the fighting on the front lines never ceased, with "Van Fleet's munitions" scorching the earth wherever they went, and their volleys of flames unleashed deadly devastation. Amidst this tangle of blood and fire, the Chinese People's Volunteers fought their way through the conflict for peace, not only launching a powerful counterattack to recapture the surface positions of Shangganling but also gaining confidence for the negotiations.
After three years of companionship, the "Volunteer Army" trilogy tells the story of the "War of Founding of the Nation" in a panoramic and multi-dimensional manner, creating a heroic epic that belongs to the Chinese people with unprecedented narrative scale and production sincerity.
