On August 21st, the launch conference for the 6th Lushan International Love Film Week, "Green Field Love Letters, Films in Lushan," was held in Beijing. It was announced that the event will be held in Lushan, Jiangxi Province, from September 5th to 11th, 2025, and the first leg of the "Follow the Movies, Fall in Love" campaign will be launched simultaneously. Chen Jianbin and Jiang Qinqin were invited to serve as ambassadors for the film week, while Wang Lei and Li Xiaomeng were appointed ambassadors for the "Follow the Movies, Fall in Love" campaign.
The 6th Lushan International Love Film Week officially launched
Mount Lu embodies the "wonderful beauty of Mount Lu" described by Xu Xiake, the "April on Earth" in Bai Juyi's poems, and the "golden hibiscus" in Li Bai's poems. Since the film "Romance at Mount Lushan," where the first onscreen kiss took place in 1980, Mount Lu has become the eternal home of Chinese romantic films. Since 2020, the Lushan International Romance Film Week has held annual romantic film and cultural events, leveraging Lushan's cultural and tourism resources to promote its status as a landmark for romantic films.

Actors Chen Jianbin and Jiang Qinqin met on the set of "Qiao Family Compound" in 2005 and married in 2006. After receiving his engagement letter, Chen Jianbin remarked that in his 19 years of marriage, he has maintained an unwavering habit of writing love poems to his wife. The press conference also announced the jury lineup for the "Annual Love Film Creator Honor" of Lushan International Love Film Week: Yin Hong, Vice Chairman of the China Film Association and Professor of Tsinghua University, director Chen Guoxing, Rao Shuguang, President, researcher and doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Society of Film Critics, Sun Chonglei, Chairman of the Youth and New Literary and Art Groups Working Committee of the China Film Association, and director Wu Rina.
Chen Guoxing, representing the jury, announced the nominees for the 2024 Romance Film Creator Award. Among them, Song Jia, who played Wang Tiemei in "Good Things," Liu Yan, who played Ma Xiaolin in "Laifu Grand Hotel," Zhang Zifeng, who played Lin Xiushan in "A Journey Across the Moon," Zhang Jingyi, who played Wang Jinjin in "You Are My Destiny," and Chen Haoyu and Zhuang Dafei, who co-starred in "I Don't Want to Be Your Friend," were nominated for "Actress of the Year."
Actors Huang Xuan who played Li Qingrang in the movie "Laifu Hotel", Tan Jianci who played Bai Xiaoyu in "You Are Lost by Me", Sun Yang who played Ouyang Hui in "Lie Lie to You", Huang Minghao who played Lu Li in "Hourglass", and Qiu Ze who played Chen Mingsheng in "The Unknown Story" were nominated for "Actor of the Year".
Han Yan's "Let's Rock the Sun Together," Shao Yihui's "Good Things," Han Yan's "Lost You," Li Weiran's "A Journey Across the Moon," and Su Biao's "Lie to You" were nominated for the 2024 Romance Film Director of the Year award. Furthermore, prior to the launch of Film Week, the "Top Ten Romance Films of the New Century" campaign was launched, inviting audiences to vote for the ten most representative films from a selection of 50 romantic films released between 2000 and 2024. The final results of both campaigns will be announced at the Film Week gala and film theme concert.
During the film week, Lushan will present a number of online and offline activities around the theme of "Fall in Love with Movies", and will fully display them on the CCTV video platform of China Central Radio and Television.
