The "Langlangshan" craze in cinemas continues to heat up, and the dimensional barrier from the two-dimensional to the three-dimensional world has also been broken. On August 22nd, the "China Fantasy Dream Wonderland Art Exhibition," co-produced by Damai Art Exhibition Hongtu and Shanghai Film Group, was officially announced. The project will curate content based on the stories of the first and second animated shorts of "China Fantasy," combining Chinese classics and traditional aesthetics to create an immersive offline exhibition, creating a bizarre and magnificent visual spectacle, allowing audiences to achieve self-reflection and spiritual wandering in a dreamlike fantasy world.

The joint creation of the "Chinese Fantasy Dream Wonderland" art exhibition with Shanghai Film Studio is part of a significant initiative to upgrade the label's comprehensive operations and expand its exhibition investment and production content. "Building upon its existing exhibition investment and production capabilities, Art Exhibition Hongtu will focus on three key areas: innovative art tours, innovative art spaces, and innovative exhibition content. This will help build a richer art consumption ecosystem, further enhance the label's ability to serve industry clients and market users, and explore new growth opportunities," said Yu Shuitao, head of the Damai Art Exhibition Hongtu label.
In 2023, the collection of traditional Chinese animated shorts, "Chinese Tales," produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio, went viral, becoming a hot topic in the domestic animation scene that year. One of the shorts, "Little Pig Demon's Summer," subsequently announced plans for a feature film, which premiered this summer. Since then, the producers have repeatedly stated their commitment to further developing and evolving the "Chinese Tales Universe." While the diverse art styles within the collection, some chapters lean more towards the author's own interpretation, may not offer the same dramatic plot, their distinctive aesthetic and visual style suggest potential for future IP development in areas such as visual arts and collaborations with trendy brands.
This time, Damai Art Exhibition Hongtu's newly launched Dream Art Fantasy Tour project has collaborated with seven young, trendsetting artists from the label to create a series of art parade floats that combine spatial fluidity, user interactivity, brand functionality, and visual appeal. Each float features a unique artistic theme and can also host diverse functions such as art exhibitions, art and art-related merchandise sales, catering, brand exposure, interactive games, karaoke, and DJ performances, creating a "mobile art complex." The floats will debut at the 2025 Aranya Xiami Music Festival in late August and will be open to collaboration with other music festivals, cultural and tourism attractions, commercial real estate, and other diverse consumer scenarios in the future, creating a platform for brands, artists, and consumers to explore, play, and consume.

"Mobile Art Complex"
As Damai's exhibition production brand, Yizhan Hongtu was established in August 2023. Over the past two years, the brand has not only participated in the production or hosting of dozens of high-quality exhibitions, including the global premiere of the Studio Ghibli Stories immersive art exhibition, the National Geographic Classic Image Exhibition, and the ONE PIECE 25th Anniversary Animation Tour in China, but also, based on Damai's "breakthrough, affordable, and inclusive" content strategy, created the brand's first self-produced IP, the "Youth Art Fair," continuously promoting the popularization of art among the general public and the professional development of young artists. Furthermore, Yizhan Hongtu, leveraging Damai Entertainment's dual business model of film and performance, launched the "Dream Scene" film art exhibition. Through in-depth collaborations with leading film festivals such as the Shanghai International Film Festival, it has gradually become a beloved city check-in destination for moviegoers.
It is reported that the upcoming Chinese Fantasy Dream Wonderland Art Exhibition is expected to meet the audience in 2026 and will tour in Shanghai, Beijing and other places.
