The 30th Shanghai TV Festival will be held from June 23 to 27. This year, the "Magnolia Fragrance" TV Festival program broadcast is still divided into three sections: TV broadcast, Internet broadcast and offline screening for the benefit of the people, achieving full coverage of TV platforms, online video platforms and offline screenings. Among them, the offline screening for the benefit of the people will be held in 19 venues in 16 districts of the city, showing a total of 29 excellent works from home and abroad.

Offline screening locations
Fengjing Open-air Cinema has a full sense of the times and atmosphere
This year, the screening sites of the offline screening activities for the benefit of the people will cover 16 districts in the city, and 19 venues include cultural venues such as the China Art Palace (Shanghai Art Museum), Shanghai Library East Branch, Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, and China Securities Museum, as well as Shanghai People's Art Museum, Shanghai Art Hall, and cultural and art centers in Changning, Putuo, Yangpu, Songjiang, Baoshan, Chongming and other districts, and libraries and new shopping malls in Minhang, Jiading, Fengxian, Qingpu and other districts. These venues connect the longitude and latitude of urban culture, and are the fusion of artistic life and worldly fireworks. The TV Festival will provide citizens with a rich and diverse audio-visual experience here.
It is worth mentioning that this year's offline guided tour event has a new screening point that is very eye-catching - the Duoyun Academy Fengjing Store (open-air cinema) in Jinshan District will become the only open-air screening point this year. By watching famous works in the courtyard of the mansion in Fengjing Ancient Town, citizens can not only feel the weight of history, but also experience the vitality of the modern era, with a full sense of age and atmosphere. In order to truly reflect the benefit to the people, the Duoyun Academy open-air screening point will also prepare mosquito repellent for the audience on site, and draw theme drinks, so that the audience can walk into the world of light and shadow with a relaxed and happy mood and encounter a better life.
The TV Festival takes "benefiting the people" and "aesthetic education" as its starting point. By weaving high-quality audio-visual content with diverse urban spaces, it gives "watching TV" richer fashion elements and social experiences, and continues to create a festival atmosphere of "city-wide participation, everyone sharing", making "benefiting the people" a vivid footnote of public culture and allowing "aesthetic education" to permeate the city and nourish people's hearts.
Offline screenings for the benefit of the people
Meeting Hudec and Jane Austen at the doorstep
In order to make the screening more professional, more international and more effective, this year's screening carefully selected and set the screening content, and will also promote it in conjunction with the relevant content of the Shanghai International Film Festival. The offline screening has planned eight units: Enjoying Childhood Fun, Classic Chinese Comics, The Power of Life, Bright Planet, Wonderful Vision, Shanghai TV Festival✖BBC Studios: 250th Anniversary of Jane Austen's Birth, Another Life, All Things on the Same Screen: Special Screening of Programs from SCO Member States, showing a total of 29 domestic and foreign masterpieces.
This year marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen's birth. In response to the special planning unit of this year's Shanghai International Film Festival, "She is half a step ahead of the times: Jane Austen's rural chronicles", Shanghai TV Festival once again cooperated with BBC Studios to screen three BBC Studios-produced films and TV series related to Jane Austen, including the 1995 classic version of "Pride and Prejudice" starring Colin Firth, the 2009 version of "Emma" starring Romola Garai, and the single-episode drama "Jane Austen's Regrets". In order to let the audience "understand" Jane Austen's works, famous experts will be invited to guide the relevant sessions.
The "Another Life" section is also full of excellent works, where the audience will encounter the master of architecture Hudec and the master of art Picasso. During the TV Festival, the visually and hearing-impaired people can also enter the China Art Palace and experience the charm of the masters in the BesTV barrier-free special. BesTV uses technology to empower artistic perception and cordially invites audiences in the Yangtze River Delta region and the visually and hearing-impaired people to attend this immersive art appointment, so that every audience can feel the moving power of art without boundaries.
This year's public screening will also actively create a child-friendly city construction atmosphere, with two special units, "Enjoy the Fun of Childhood" and "Classic Chinese Comics". Universal Pictures' animated IP "Gaby's Dollhouse" will be linked with Shanghai TV's Haha Xuandong Channel to hold a three-day "Gaby's Dollhouse & Shanghai TV Festival Qimiao Birthday Party" in the East Hall of Shanghai Library; Paramount Animation's big IP "Paw Patrol", which is very popular among children, and the domestic animation big IP "Shuke and Beta", will have large puppets appearing at the screening point to interact closely with children.

Shanghai is a major center of China's television industry and a "big wharf" for the exchange of domestic and foreign television works. The Shanghai TV Festival practices the important concept of "the people build the city, and the city is for the people", and will continue to build a "television festival at home", using excellent works and innovative forms to make Shanghai a place of yearning for audiences at home and abroad.
